回復は順調 steadily recovering from injuries

退院してからは家で怪我の治療に専念している毎日だけど、やっぱり自分の音楽を演奏する時間をちゃんと取らないと頭がおかしくなりそうだ。

自宅でやっているレッスンも少し再会して自分の体に無理が無い範囲で普通の生活に戻ろうとしている。

今回の事故後、病院で再チェックをした結果、背骨が５本と足のなかで２本の骨が骨折していたりヒビが入っている事が明確になった。後は打撲や擦過傷が体の左側に沢山ある。もちろん完全装備をしているにも関わらず負った怪我だから、完全な装備じゃなかったらどんな事になっていたか、、、、

これが一つの大事な勉強になったと思っている。

当時も次の仕事に大急ぎで移動していて、道路の悪条件に加え連日の寝不足や焦りとかも重なって起きた事故。

とりあえずは本当にいま自分に必要だと感じているプロジェクトだけに集中して無理だと思われる事はしないようにしている。
この意識改革が本当に難しい。自分に厳しく向き合う事がとても大切だと思っているなかで、身体や精神状態に対して無理をしているかしていないかを判断するのが非常に難しい。これも敏感に感じてその時、体や心が感じている事に応じながら達成するべき目標を確実に達成する事が重要なのだと思う。

達成するべき目標の範囲の設定もやっぱり色々と範囲が広すぎたのかもしれない。

ちょっとずつ見直しして行きながら本当に今の自分がやるべき事だけにしぼって一つ一つしっかりと楽しんで行きたいと思っている。何をしていても本当に楽しいと思ってしまうから、もっとスローな感覚に戻れるようになりたいね。

After getting out of the hospital I've been concentrating on recovering from my injuries... but without my music it's really hard not to go crazy. What I mean is I need to keep writing and playing in order to keep focus on the most important things in my life. My art is one way for me to organize my thoughts and emotions I think.

This accident was a great opportunity for me to reflect on what was really important to me in life. I guess I was trying to do too many things at once, but now I've learnt my lesson about rushing things. Especially about charging corners in the rain... LOL

After a full check-up at the doctor I now know I have 5 broken bones in my back and two fractures in my leg.

All injuries sustained are supposed to heal in a few months or so, so I have no permanent injuries thankfully....

I can't believe how lucky I was on this one. A few days before the accident I misplaced my wallet somewhere during a radio appearance... and didn't even really care since each day back then was so hectic and rushed...

Now that things have slowed down a bit, although the injury makes everything difficult, especially being in a wheelchair....

I think I've been able to focus on the most important tasks making things a tad more efficient.

Most importantly I think I slowly need to change my mindset about how I approach new project offers...!
Recording projects and being hired to play bass for all kinds of bands is really exciting but I've decided to narrow my many many musical projects down to two main projects for now.

残念ながら今日のJuke Joint 西麻布のライブはキャンセルする事になりました。

先日、事故にあって骨折してしまいました。幸い後遺症などの心配は無く完治する内容です。写真や状況を具体的に共有できていなくて申し訳ございません。タイミングをみて色々と状況を共有していければと思います。

ライブ直前の事で残念でなりませんが、何より楽しみにしていてくれたファンの方々、ブッキングしてくださったスタッフの皆様、対バンの皆様、本当に申し訳ありません！！

今はとにかく、皆さんに喜んで頂けるパフォーマンスが出来る様、治療に専念致します。

この悔しさをバネに、必ずパワーアップして戻ってきますね！
復活ライブで是非私達に会いに来て下さい！今後のスケジュールもチームで検討して公表したいとおもいます。

また、愛情あるお叱りも随時お待ちしております。

それでは、これからもThe Lo-Fiを宜しくお願いします！！

Unfortunately we had to cancel our show today at the Juke Joint in Nishi-Azabu due to my recent injury from a motorcycle accident.

I don't have any nerve damage or permanent damage to my body so I'm told I'll make a full recovery.

However with some fractures in my back it's hard to judge when I'll be back on stage.

We want to promise our fans and friends that we won't to a mediocre show because of an injury. So when I'm back I plan to be back 100%.

We hope to update everyone on our live performance schedules soon!

なかなか今までこんなにブログを更新しない事は無かったからファンや友達からたくさんの連絡を頂きまして大変心配をかけてしまいましてごめんなさい！

数日前に交通事故にあって、病院に入院していました。連絡も付かないなか多くの方にも心配やご迷惑をおかけまして、申し訳ございませんでした。

たくさんの人に良くしてもらい、助けてもらい、命を落とさずに済んだと感じていて感謝し切れません。

昨日の夕方に退院して、今は家で回復や治療に専念してます。怪我としては神経関係のダメージは幸い一切ありません。体は擦り傷などが色々とありますが、プロテクターを全身にまとっていたので、骨がかけるタイプの背骨の骨折ですみました。

色々とスケジュールにも無理をしていたのかと今は反省してます。人生も色々と見直さないと。

当初のアレンジは色々と異なるかと思いますが、出演予定なども状況によってはキャンセルになる場合もありますが、必ずフォローいたします！

It's my first time not updating my blog for so long and I'm sorry I had so many people worried about what's been going on.

I was in a traffic accident on the Tokyo metropolitain expressway on the 16th and have been in te hospital since.

Finally got out yesterday night and am recovering at home.

I've broken (chipped?) two vertebrae and road rash in multiple places, and no nerve damage. Thanks to my body armor...

I must admit maybe I was pushing myself to work a schedule that was just too hard.

I have a lot of thinking to do.

Arrangements may change and some shows and appearances may get cancelled but will do my best!

財布無くした…. Lost my wallet…. ありがとう！ Thank you!!!!

大変な事に財布を無くしてしまった。。。。

 

自販機に少し収録の休憩の際に出て行ったときに他の打合せの調整をしているときについどっかに無意識に置いてしまったみたい。

 

 

最初は「やばい」と普通に思った。

 

 

周りやスタジオの中や外を凄い長い時間探してみたけど、置き忘れてしまったと思われる場所にはなく、交番にもなくて、、、、しょうがなく諦めてカード類を停止して、免許書も再交付した。

 

 

「なんでこんな失敗をしたのか？」とか最初は色々と悩んだりもした。

でも今日は誕生日にもなっていろんな人からのメッセージももらったり、久しぶりに大好きなケーキ屋さんでケーキと食べながら「ま、いいっか！」と気分はすぐに入れ替える事ができた。

 

疲れていたり、なんか集中力がなくなるような状況にいたんだなぁ、と少し反省して

もう少し自分のペースを管理する事を勉強しようと思って。

 

本当に多くの人達に支えられていて自分は毎日が過ごせている。

 

そんな人生って本当に最高にやりがいがあって、どんな事もどんなにでも頑張れる。

それと同日に自分を大切に思ってくれている皆の為にも自分を大切にする事もしっかりしないと。

 

と、思う日でした今日は！

I lost my wallet somewhere outside the other day when I was doing the recording for the radio show.

I think I must have left it out on the bench or something when I went out to get a drink during the recording break.

 

 

Must have been day dreaming and lost track of where I put things….

 

 

Initially I just felt so disappointed that I lost something that was so important.

 

Now looking back after a day is that it's not such a big deal.

 

Sure it was a hassle stopping all my bank cards or reissuing my driver's license and whatnot, but after all that I realized how grateful I should be that none of this really makes my day bad at all.

 

Today was my birthday (to be precise it was was "B-day" up until about 40 minutes ago...)

and I got a lot of really heart warming messages from so many people.

I really enjoy every minute of my life, even when things that are unexpected happen… thanks to everyone who is part of my life I'm grateful for every moment!

 

Thank you for all the support and please look forward to more music this year!

Yesterday I went down to Kichijoji to record a radio show with a fellow musician from the same high school in New York.


We've been doing a similar style of music for a long time but never had the chance to perform together until last month! Had a great show and hope to invite him to perform at the Lo-Fi gigs too.

サウンドチェック遅刻、、、 late for sound check

午前中の打ち合わせが全然終わらず、機材もバタバタで順日しながらライブに向かった。

家のガレージの都合で人が何人か車だしに並ぶと今回見たいに15分ぐらい待つ事になる！

On the day of the Star Lounge show I had a meeting in the morning that made everything after that late...! Plus had some bad luck with a congested garage .. had to wait like 15minutes just to get my car. That's Tokyo for ya


相変わらず荷物の量も多いしね、、、笑


でも、ライブ自体は前のブログに載せたように、本当に良かった！

The show itself was really awesome, but I must say hauling all the gear to and from the shows and setting up is a real challenge in itself considering the time limits of sound check and all.



一緒に出演した仲間のJemstone以外には Jackyというサーフィンもやるシンガー、ギタリストと友達になった！海の話とかもできて楽しかったな。

Other than our good friends of Jemstone, we were able to make some new friends with the surfer band led by Jacky. Real cool dude, an we talked a lot about surfing and the ocean.

準備とかで本番までにやらないといけない事がもりだくさんで大変だけど、どん時も音楽ができて感謝してる。

"サウンドチェックはなに？"とも聞かれる事が多いけど、簡単にいうと、会場の音響システムをバンドに合わせて調整する時間です。

It's a lot of work getting the stage ready for a show but it's always more rewarding than it is hard work thanks to our fans and great musicians that play with us.

So what do we do when we do the "sound check"?

It's basically a stage setup confirmation and mix balance check. It's not really a rehearsal like most people think.

だいたい45分のライブだと、30分ぐらいチェック時間が設けられている。しかし、ライブの開場の3時間前ぐらいから始まる事が多い。

夜に30分のステージだけでも、確実に丸一日かかるのが基本的な感覚かもしれない。

Here in Japan it's common to have the "gyaku-leha" which literally translates to "reverse rehearsal". The order of the sound check goes in the reverse order of the show. This allows for the sound crew and band to save time 'cause they don't need to take apart the stage for the first band (the last band rehearsing and sound-checking)

リハは逆リハが多くて、"出演順"の逆順序でリハーサルをします。そうすると、最後にリハーサルするバンドのステージは組んだままで解体せずにそのままライブができる。

そうそう、毎回チェックのタイミングで、一度ステージを組み、また解体して、本番でまた組む、終わったら解体して搬出すると色々とやるのだ。



いろんなタイプのライブで色んなスタイルの音楽に出会えて、かなり最近は充実している。

With so many different concerts that I've been a part of I must say that it's a great experience to be among so many different styles and sounds.

ちょっと雨でフライヤーがボロボロになってしまったか、サラウンドシステムを組んだライブで音も良かったし、artistも最高に楽しかったね。

朝はニュースを見て、、、 Watching the news

今日は朝起きて少しニュースを見ようと思ったら、なんか凄い大議論が起きてて、、、相変わらず政府とメディアでバトルをしているなぁ、、、と思った。

 

最近の出来事でアメリカのセキュリティー機関が国民の電話を盗聴して情報収集している事実が流出して政府が国民のプライバシーを侵害しているという議論になっている。

 

メインのポイントはテロや侵略、国家レベルでのセキュリティー等色々と理由がある「安全」か「プライバシー」を取るかと、、、、

 

 

プライバシー侵害ってどこからその一線を超えるのだろうと思ってしまう時も良くある。

何かを管理したり、利便性を追求すると情報を全員公開しないと社会として生活できないからね。

 

政府を信じれないから情報を収集されるのが怖いのかな？

俺にはもちろん答えなんて分からないけど、自分の情報を提供する事によって国の安全を守れるのは抵抗がない。考え方としては、、、、

 

しかし、「監視カメラが自分の自宅に入る」とか考えると抵抗が凄いあるしね。

情報の種類によって気持ちも違うのかもしれないね。

Woke up pretty early and was cleaning up and preparing some gear.

Watching the news while having breakfast. On the show they were all in heated discussion about what was allowed as security.

 

Basically about do we take "safety" or "privacy"

 

Sometimes I wonder what privacy is. I personally think that letting go of some of your privacy should be no problem. But don't really know exactly where it becomes uncomfortable.

 

I certainly wouldn't like having a surveillance camera in my apartment….

 

I doubt that people living in Japan really care about things like this, and I assume it's passive acceptance of a system larger than oneself. OR just mindless protest toward government for the sake of the protest party/demonstration.

This stance is good sometimes, because it's peaceful sometimes… but makes me worried about the "1984" style social oppression that goes on here to stick to the "norm" what ever that is.

 

Anyway.. gotta rebuild my effects board for the show tonight.

I really wish I could get a VJ to work with me so I could get more of my lyrics out to the Japanese crowd here in Tokyo. The words I think are really relevant to people right now.

oh well! I hope I'll work this out soon

なんだこれ！？と思う様な映像。

 

ビビった！こんな現象はどうやって起きるのか！？

 

しかも、ハンマーで割れないようなガラスはなんで割れないのか？？

 

 

実はちゃんとビデオ内でこれも解説されています。。。。

しかし、それを表現するビデオのキャラが可笑しい。

 

Amazing video a student showed me during a lesson today! It's really amazing some of the things that happen naturally….!

 

What's awesome about this video is that it goes into detail about how this all works…. The super-slowmotion cam is also something that makes this all "visible" too. 

 

色々な現象も凄いけど、その裏にある原理を知る事によって、色々なシステムが似ている事も感じられて凄く面白いと思う。

 

本当に世の中は不思議な事が多くているも新しい事を発見できたりするが楽しい。

実は今日もこの画像を出会ったのは生徒と話しているときだった。
教えている時でも沢山自分は学ぶ事ができていると感じる事も多々。

 

 

今日はちょっと前にやっとすこしおちついたからブログを書こうかと。

日本に来てから。After moving to Japan

(English below)

今日は朝から結構忙しくレッスンや英詞のサポートの仕事が一日入っている日。

前にも少し書いたけど、人に教える事を通じて教える側もたくさんの学びがある、凄く有意義な時間だと思う。

音楽を作る理由と同じだけど、自分の能力をフルに発揮して人の力になれるのは充実していて、幸せだ。

自分はもう日本に来てハッキリ数えれてないかもしれないけど、もう多分15年近く経っている。

色んな人とであって色んな事を体験して、なんとなくだけど、自分の地元に感じられる場所に日本はなってきたのではないかとたまに思う。

今日も朝はジャズの散歩しながら考えていた。





日本にきて始めて住んだエリアは実は湘南で、凄く嬉しい事に今回リリースしたアルバムも藤沢の店舗、Tower Records藤沢店に自分の作ったCDが置いてあった。


"インディーズ学園"と、なんだかパンクな雰囲気なコーナーに並んでるのも個性的でいつもと違うリスナーにもも届くといいなと思った。

駅の近くのビルに入っているけど、実は学生のごろにはここの歩道橋の近くで学生の友達と一緒にストリートライブもたくさんやってきた。

懐かしいな。

なんか酔っ払いから¥5000もらったり、他のストリートで演奏している人と友達になったり。

そうだ、、、話は全然変わるが、全然遠い場所の札幌のライブも7/5-6と決まったからこれも皆に知らせたいな。

よし、今日も一日楽しもう。

Today is probably going to be a pretty busy day. I've got a lot of teaching to do and also some consulting for writing English lyrics.

Teaching is really one of the best experience for learning something yourself too. It's tremendously rewarding too.

To be part of someone's success story is a great feeling.


I have no exact idea of how long I've been in Japan now but it's almost 15 years I think. That's a pretty long time and finally I feel more comfortable as a part of the culture here.

I've met so many people experienced an many things while living here.

The first place I lived in Japan was Fujisawa, in the Shonan area. Recently our staff went to the Tower Records shop there to see how our CD was being displayed.

It was interesting to see they out us in the "School of Indie Music" corner with a very punkish design theme...!

Anyway when I first arrived in Japan we did a few street shows pretty close to where this shop is now. Didn't think I'd have my CD in the stores like this when I was playing out there as a student...


Well I better get going. Hope to update everyone about our shows on the 5th and 6th of July in Sapporo!

ex Lo-Fiのベーシストのライブをみて来た！ Went to see ex Lo-Fi bassist perform!

今日は朝起きてから直ぐにツアー関連の調整でかなりバタバタしてる感じでスケジュールを調整してた。
なんか、友達&仲間からたくさんの心配メールがくるから、ブログを見てても結構ハードなスケジュールで動いているように見えるのかな？
人に心配を掛けるのは本当に申し訳ないしダメだよね！でも、気分的にはポジティブなエネルギーばかりに包まれているから忙しいなかでもとても楽しい時間を過ごしている。
今日は朝の仕事が終わり次第、お世話になっているHMV 目黒店を寄って、ちょっとしてサンプル版のCDのトラブルに対応をしてた、、、そしたら！CDが何枚か売れているのを発見してメチャ嬉しかった、、、！




残り二枚！こういう音楽にいま興味を持つ人がいると思うと嬉しい。生演奏は楽しいからね。
さて、今日は部屋の大掃除で、スタジオを配置換えして、新しいレコーディングのプロジェクトの準備を始めた。仕事のしやすい環境は本当に大切だとおもう。
疲れ始めたから、少し休憩も兼ねて、午後は今回The Lo-FiのツアーでプレイするキーボードのRyuchiに機材も届けて、またレッスンに向かった。
レッスンが終わり、スカイプでマネージャーと打ち合わせをして、今後のツアー計画やCDの販売計画についてはなしも、、、
打ち合わせ終わり、直ぐに楽しみにしてたライブへ！




もちろん移動はバイク。
今日のバンドでは、Keyboardsが6/11に一緒に演奏する、Gaku Tajima!!!
ダンサーもいたし、かなりの大所帯のバンドで面白かった！日本の音楽のメロディーはレトロでかっこいいね。
更にこのバンドのベースは前にThe Lo-Fiでベースを弾いてくれてたQuengo!!! 彼のダンスしながらのプレイは最高だった！




色々と収穫があったライブで勉強にもなった。

Today I got up and immediately started adjusting the schedule for the domestic tour we have planned for this summer. It's a crazy mix of several schedules of different musicians in different bands and the logistics are also challenging especially on a tight budget.
From the messages I get from my fans and friends I must be portraying my schedule as being tougher than it is! But I'm doing fine and feel great being surrounded by such positive energy of my band, fellow musicians, and students!
Yes I must say that I only have 3-4 hours of sleep maximum but that's only temporary! I think around September my schedule will be much more lax and I might even have time for a day or two off! Will most definitely be riding!
Everyday is an awesome experience doing things I love all the time!
After doing some work at home I headed out to Meguro to deal with some trouble with our sample CDs in the listening booths. Happy find out that thanks to the store clerk's help we were able to sell a few CDs!
After delivering some gear to our tour keyboardist, Ryuchi's place I headed back to teach another lesson.
Right now I'm doing a renovation of my studio in preparation for a big recording project I'm working on.
After the lesson I had a Skype meeting with our manager in Osaka to go through details of our tour. We really are behind in setting dates for the shows.
After the meeting I headed out to see a show I've been looking forward to. It's Japanese traditional music mashed up with Latin grooves and hit songs...!
This band's keyboardist is Gaku Tajima who's playing for us as Lo-Fi on the 11th at the Star Lounge
Also the bassist was ex Lo-Fi bassist Quengo.
He was singing and dancing with the music and it was an inspiration seeing him play again! I hope we can collaborate again sometime soon.
I've realized how long this post has gotten although all I've written is about what I've been doing today....
Hopefully I'll have something more constructive to say tomorrow...

新作リリース！

どうも、ドラムです。
梅雨入りしたとかしてないとか言っておりますが、とにかく暑い季節が確実に近付いて参りました。
夏に向けて作ったわけではありませんが、気持ちが高揚するこの時期に有難いことに新作発表までこぎつける事が出来ました。
しかも、全国流通どころかCDショップ各店の視聴機にいれていただく事も叶いました。皆さん、ありがとうございます。

今やっと家に着いて少しベランダでまったり。




ベランダに出てるこのロウソクの器は昔親からもらったもの。

今朝は友達のサロンの開店準備の様子をみに行き、なんかでしゃばってしまい、色々と手を出してしまった！




これは雨対策で、家具を載せる台を準備しようとしてる。このお店も準備が完成したらまた皆に報告したいと思います。

その後はGakuくんとのリハで、
営業にいったあとは少し家事でバタバタしたけど、夜は曲のアレンジのミーティングに。

いま一緒に仕事をしているシンガーが本当にいい感じのグルーヴの持ち主でバンドでもスタジオに入るのが楽しみだ。

言葉だけを使ってたけど一緒に色々と想像しながら、イメージを共有している作業も非常に楽しい。

人間はいかに頭の中にあるイメージが言葉として表現出来ていないか改めて感じさせられた。

もっと色々と勉強をしなきゃ。



帰りのバイクの移動も実は結構楽しいんだよね、、、、

Right now I'm taking some time to chill out on my balcony. Enjoying the gentle candle light reflected off a candle holder my parents gave me ages ago.

This morning I went out to help my friend who is opening a new salon. I was planning to just check out the progress on her project, but as I expected... I ended up moving stuff around and whatnot ... It was great fun and I'll most definitely introduce the salon when it's finished!

Here's some pictures of my preparing some wooden blocks for the furniture that we were moving.

Later I was at rehearsal and afterwards I was out promoting the new album.

I came back home for a bit to walk Jazz and went back out to do some song arrangements with a singer that I'm working with.

She's got a great groove to her songs and I'm really looking forward to this project moving forward soon.

I learn a lot working with other artists and preparing song arrangements not just by playing but by talking about the experience we are trying to create with each song.

I'm grateful to have so many learning experiences everyday!

I always love my bike ride home at the end of a long day...

リハ終わった！！HMV目黒店 The Lo-Fi at HMV Meguro

Meguroのatre(アトレ)の二階中にあるHMVに今日は挨拶に行きまして、そこではHip-Hop x Reggae x Ska X Dub のコーナーにいれてもらっていました！

After rehearsal Yosh and I dropped by the Meguro atre HMV cd store!


早速コメントを記入して、今回フィーチャーして頂いたコーナーにあった曲を選曲してオススメにヨシが書いて見た！

Here they had our CD in the Hiphop Reggae Ska and Dub section... very cool
so in our comment card we added some tracks for this corner





色々な店舗でこの作品が並んでいるのは本当にうれしい。

今日はしっかりリハーサルもGakuくんともできたし、CDを購入して頂いた方にこそライブを見に来て頂きたいですね！

フラフラになってきたぞ！ Feeling like I'm gonna faint soon...!

今日は起きてからなんかまた一日が一瞬で終わった！

朝は先ず、水道の人が来て工事を、、、キッチンがそれでいつもよりもさらにグチャグチャに、、！



その後はレッスンに向かって、なんと駐輪場で忍者みたいな黒猫との出会い！やっぱり猫は面白いね


こいつとは大違い！


そのあとはなんだか店員に迷惑な時間帯に横浜まで東京から一気に走って、トンボ帰り、、、





家に戻ったら迎えが来てくれて、少しJAZZと話してたら直ぐにまた生徒がレッスン受けに到着、

今日は面白い技術の

良く子供の時こんな事を想像してたな。



やっぱり Dragon Ballのスカウターを皆は想像するけどね。

その後はアルバムの情報を色んな人に連絡してたり、The Lo-Fi Facebook page に新しい機能を加えたり、、、、

これはまた後日！

さて、今からトレーニングの時間だぞ！

ちょっと疲れててめまいするが、、、気合だ！

Today went by in a flash....
it's amazing how fast the day was over!

From the moment I got up we had some plumbing work done in the kitchen and all that time I was informing people about our new album and doing some desk work.

After that I was off to do some teaching in Tokyo where I came upon a "ninja" cat slinking away into the back alleys of Tokyo station... I really love how these stay cats are always out exploring

Of course I also love how my dog is always by my side too. She's a shy and timid dog toward strangers but amazingly energetic when she's with me

Had a short chat with Jazz and made her dinner then off to Yokohama to write the comment cards for the new album release.

Then back to Tokyo to teach another lesson.

Today we talked about the Google Glass experience.
Pretty cool vid up on TED TALKS too with some "GoPro" like camerawork!

Now after another wave of contacting people it's time for me to do my training ritual....!

A bit dizzy from too many consecutive days of no sleep... but hey, this life is really fun to be honest!

なんとか間に合った！Somehow made it back in time!!

今日はレッスンが終わってから、湾岸の風になって横浜に行きました。

Rode like the wind to Yokohama after some intensive teaching!

Here I am at the Yokohama Tower Records shop and year again they've made sure our music was in the booths! Awesome!

アルバムも手にとって見てもらっていて気になったから後ろからずっと見てました、、、が！
置いてどっかいっちゃいました、、、、涙

何枚か既に売れていたと伺ったので、そんな方達と是非写真とか撮りたかったですね。

There was this listener checking out our album... i was watching intently to see her reaction.....
but unfortunately she didn't take it home..!

oh well! I wish I could have taken a shot with the people who bought the album earlier in the day according to the store clerk!!



The Lo-Fiのアルバムは新発売でセールじゃないですが、改装のためにセールをしているみたいです、横浜モアーズ店！

しかも！

嬉しかったのが、今度北海道で一緒にイベントに出演するJizueと一緒の並びに置いて頂きました、、、！

今日は店舗では新宿 Tower Recordsでも状況をメンバーが見に行って、こんな感じで試聴機にもCDが入っていて嬉しかったです！

Today we had the band members and staff check out all the stores in the Tokyo area… It was great to see so many stores have our CDs on display and in the listening booths!

結構遅い時間の２３時までやっていますので、どんなタイミングでもフラってよれるのがいいね。

 The Shinjuku Tower Records store is open until 23:00 so it's nice to know you can always drop in even pretty late at night….

 

 

更にしっかり音が聴ける様に池袋のTower Recordsもこんな形でディスプレイして頂きました！

こちらは店舗のサイズの関係もあって、CDが見える様に置いて頂きました。

Yosh dropped by the Machida store and they used what space they had to put our CD sideways so it can be seen by people looking for the album!

 

Tower Records in Akihabara also made some space for our new album in the store space like this!

今日はメンバーの皆で店舗に販売されているCDを見に行きました！

渋谷のTower Recordsでは、着いてから、しばらくウロウロ、、、、


あれ？


全然無い？？



と思ってご担当者のKさんから話をお伺いするとっ、、、！なんと、、、トラブル！


色々な偶然が重なって自分がたまたまサンプルもあったので直ぐにKさんがフォローを入れてくださいました！



こんな感じで置いてらってます！！試聴できるので是非まだ試聴されてない方は店舗で聴いてください！

今日は少しトラブルがあったけと、無事展開して頂けました！




嬉しいね！
こうやってリスナーの聴ける所まで届いてるのを見ると凄く感動する！




セクションも色々と分けて頂けて、Hiphop x Relaxというセクションに置いてもらって、テーマ的にいい感じだと思った！

やっぱり店でCDを買うのは楽しいし。

The members of Lo-Fi decided to take a walk around the CD stores in Tokyo to check out how our CD is doing!

So I went down to Shibuya to check it out Tower Records there..... but



The CD was nowhere in sight...!


hmmmm



I asked around and Mr.K on the 4th floor there was a really great guy and explained about none of the sample CDs arriving in time from Universal.... Luckily I was prepared!

He got the listening booths ready in no-time!!



It was great to be able to experience first-hand the service front where the final work of art reaches the listener!

I really recommend people to go down to a CD store that has a large selection like this to check out the cool music they've lined up!



They got us in another section of the store too

the "Hip-Hop x Relax" section!
Though we've got some rock tracks I like how they focused on the laid-back grooves like track 4 & 5 or Apple Tea...!
